We’re Marokii and Vaea Maoate, the heart and soul behind Marino Tours here in beautiful island of Aitutaki, Cook Islands.
Our journey started back in 2018 when we were captivated by the island’s peaceful vibe and stunning lagoon and moved from Rarotonga to Aitutaki (the land of our parents). With a vision in mind and the help of our family, we built Tai Marino, a pair of self-contained beachfront bungalows on the land gifted by our dear grandfather. It’s a true family business, and we’ve loved sharing our slice of paradise with guests from all over the world.
Why Marino Tours?
We realized our guests were craving something more – a private, affordable way to explore the lagoon’s crystal-clear waters and hidden gems. And that’s how Marino Tours was born at the end of 2020. Marokii, with his friendly and caring nature, leads our tours, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and has an unforgettable experience. Vaea makes the yummy lunches and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
